Contrary to popular belief, a lion's share is not the greater part of a subdivision of a whole, rather the original meaning is all of that whole. So the lion's share of a cake is the whole cake.
Over at Royal Holyrood Park, the Lion of Scotland sculpture has the share of the park now, all the other animals have been transported elsewhere for display. It appears that this lion is so well loved that he might indeed remain for good - we should know within a month.
